Description of course
Since the dawn of time, humans have been under the control of their ‘emotions’. In primitive times, ‘fear’ being one of the most dominant in an effort to survive, in what was a potentially hostile environment.
Interestingly, in today’s world, this ‘emotion’ is still very prominent with various sources trying to initiate and propagate fear. Television, newspapers, magazines and much of the latest forms of digital communication are responsible for keeping ‘fear’ alive and well.
After over thirty years of practice and treating a myriad of structural issues, I realised that there is always an ‘emotional’ aspect to the presenting physical dysfunction. Hence the need to uncover and support those who are stuck in an emotional restrictive way, which in turns affects the outcome of the bodywork treatments.
Class teaching format
Classroom interactive presentation, including lecture and practical. Participants will be instructed on the assessment process and then given time to assess and treat - including the concepts covered in the class. Finally, re-evaluation of the assessments to validate the treatment outcomes.
Course rationale
The structural therapist should be aware of the potential presenting emotional restrictions and have assessment tools to help identify and support the client through their healing journey. This course provides an incredibly accurate assessments tool in conjunction with supportive techniques to help move the client into a better emotional space. The benefit being an improvement in the structural treatment outcomes, where previously the ‘client’ did not respond or responded, only to fall back into old patterns.
Learning objectives
Introduce and learn to apply Advanced kinesiological concepts which includes ‘circuit hold’ (or pause lock) and stacking. These two approaches allow combining of multiple dysfunctional states to be corrected in one treatment.
Enhanced application of the AK techniques in conjunction with specially formulated ‘Radionics’ for accurate isolation of underlying issues. (Note: A kit of specially selected test vials is provided as part of the course.)
Introduction to the three therapeutic approaches to support the client through their own healing journey.
Discuss the ‘seven’ aspects of trauma and identify each component in the pathway.
Identify functional and dysfunctional characteristics of humans related to practitioner, clients and others that they may come in contact with.
