I started my Bowen therapy journey in 2023 with Tanya at the WA School of Bowen (Fascial Kinetics) I completed my course in November of the same year. I gained employment with an integrated and very forward thinking Chiropractic clinic in Australind in July of that same year giving many free treatments to their clients until I was qualified. I have found it very interesting and love the challenge of reading the body and working out what needs to be done. I especially like the fast results. I previously worked as a Phlebotomist and Lab tech for the preceding 22 years in various roles both in private and public sectors. I was looking for a slower pace and the ability to help people where I could take the time to listen and help the people that come to me properly in a way that they could feel and see for themselves. I always used to say ' One day I am going to have a job where people come to me because they want to and it makes them feel good, not because their doctor told them they had to'.

So here I am ready and open to all learning and the possibilities that it will bring.

Trained in Remedial massage and Bowen Therapy.

Hi! I'm a 48year old mum of three aged 8, 11 and 18!
I home school and I run my own business predominantly as a nyotherapist.
I also offer CSFT, (like CST but insert the word fascial)
Visceral which I am still training in and have the past two years
Bowen I trained with Chris reed in 2008, and Kevin Ryan in 2017 or 2018 I think.
It's been a while.
I work intuitively and offer at times reiki or hands on prayer.
I am research biofield therapies such as tuning fork and pendulum, in my very little spare time.
Influences here are bradley nelson and eileen day mcusick. I'm still early in this research.
My other loves are developing confidence in the Barral visceral and cranial manipulations I've been slowly learning.
I am also a personal trainer and teach 1:1 clinical pilates reformer and mat.
I take my family camping regularly and we love nature and playing at home or with friends.
I'm very busy buy I do love to network with like minded people and refer people to people.
I'm grateful to be here!
I've been massaging on many different levels for 20years.
Before this I was a phlebotomy and personal carer.  I studied biological science until partway through 2nd and third year, when I was hit by a car and suffered a severe brain injury and various other fractures. Bowen is what returned my neck and shoulder range of mo t ion, as well healed my fractured coccyx after delivering My first baby, so I knew I needed to study it and contemplated it in 1999 when I met an international student feom the UK who was studying it! It was inevitable and I don't use it as much as I used to except intuitively and occasionally people request it. I think it's profound.
Thank you!
Kind regards
Tamara
