Hormonal Release the Bowen Way

Madeline became a Certified Bowenwork/Bowtech Practitioner in 2013, and practices in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada’s capital city.

Bowen Therapy is her second career after an engineering and management career with the Canadian federal government, retiring as a Deputy Director.

An avid learner, and looking for answers to complex, unresolved clinical issues, Madeline followed SP-2 with many advanced Bowen workshops. She became a qualified ‘Hormonal Release the Bowen Way’ instructor in 2021. In her busy practice she realized that HRBW has such immense potential and fills a treatment gap, particularly with regard to infertility and debilitating endometriosis*. Treating clients ranging from age 2 to 92 taught Madeline that resolving TMD issues (a key component of HRBW and PASC training) is often essential to successful whole body healing outcomes.

In addition to being a practitioner of several energy healing modalities, she was fortunate to be in the Energetic Structural Balancing inaugural class taught to Bowen practitioners by André Dückers of the Netherlands in 2023.

Madeline has broadened her training through workshops offered by Upledger Institute (Craniosacral) and the Barral Institute (Visceral Manipulation) **.

*Madeline is interested in contributing to Bowen Therapy research, with the goal of organizing a multi-practitioner case-series study on the combo of Bowen Therapy and HRTBW procedures to mitigate endometriosis symptoms.
